I found this too, and tried it, however it doesn't seem to work with
Hybrid7.  I put threw it in my general{} config and when starting
ircd-hybrid I get the following in my ircd.log:

[2004/12/8 10.39] "/etc/ircd-hybrid/ircd.conf", line 745: syntax
error:  disable_auth = yes;
