Greetings,
I have compiled hybrid 7.0.1 on a machine running Debian Linux (amd64),
aka "pure64". I run two seperate ircd instances, a hub and a leaf. The
leaf ircd is repeatedly segfaulting after a few minutes. It appears that
any activity causes this, such as:
- Connecting to a hub
- Several clients connecting at once
- Adding glines
A core file is generated, and the following message appears in
/var/log/messages:
ircd[7490]: segfault at 0000000000000043 rip 0000002a95c67770 rsp
0000007fbfffec48 error 4
I haven't had time to run a backtrace on the core file, but if that
will be useful, I will provide the output. The only difference between
the two ircds is that the hub is compiled to allow 128 connections, while
the leaf allows 1024. Both are compiled using gcc-3.4.1. The segfaults
occur with stock kernels 2.6.7 and 2.6.8-rc2
I would appreciate advice on how this problem could be corrected. Thanks.
