sendto failed: Invalid argument

I have freebsd 4.11 and ircd-hybrid-7.0.2_2
When i client connects i get a big delay with this hsowing in the logs

[2005/7/22 22.50] sendto failed: Invalid argument
[2005/7/22 22.50] sendto failed: Invalid argument
[2005/7/22 22.50] sendto failed: Invalid argument
[2005/7/22 22.50] sendto failed: Invalid argument
[2005/7/22 22.50] sendto failed: Invalid argument
[2005/7/22 22.50] DNS/AUTH timeout [tommy at 54.213.145.20]

I have let the ident port throught the firewall and i am not sure what 
else is needed
